Harwick Lab Personnel
After the company was purchased from Chemetron by the management group in 1971, there was a reorganization which resulted in some "downsizing" in the lab, including 3 lab techs and the lab manager position. I had been working as 2nd shift supervisor and thought that they would offer the position to me. But when that didn't happen after a couple weeks, I approached our president Bud Behney to request the lab manager job, and he gave it to me. I was fortunate to have inherited a group of key lab people, including, Mary Louise Dunderman, Ray Hill, Mary Teichman, and Pat Barrett, who became the core. Subsequently, these were all of the Lab Technicians that I hired:

Lab Office Staff - In the beginning, I didn't get involved with the hiring of the lab office staff, which involved Mary Louise doing the pricing, and a lab secretary. Instead, they would screen candidates and send them down for my approval. Mary Louise remained in her pricing position until she retired in 1980, when Patsy Fortney replaced her. The lab secretary position was held by Jana White, followed by Judy Smith, Beverly Borne, Rena Musyt, Bev Loue (soon to become Bev Alspach), and then Linda Byrd.
